Pope John Paul II Special Update
April 8 was a day filled with an abundance of God's blessings while in Pueblo. The day began with visiting two parishes that closed on March 31. Through the generosity of Father Ben Bacino and the guidance of Father Kevin Novack, many items were selected for our new church. They included pews to seat 300 people, statues, a piano and an organ. Additionally, 15 tables in good condition and 150 folding chairs were selected for use in the gathering area. Small items will be picked up this week and the larger items within the next two weeks.

A very special thanks to Father Ben Bacino for his hospitality and generosity. We also want to thank Father Kevin Novack for his time and valuable input. As a result we were able to select the items listed below for use in the Pope John Paul II Church. It was definitely a day filled with God's blessings. Attached are pictures of the majority items that are listed below.

The following items were obtained, all of which were recommended by Father Kevin for our new church.

The proposed contractor is FCI Constructors, Inc. in Durango. It is our hope that we will receive approval from the FAC and obtain Bishop Tafoya's signature within the week
