Liturgy Team
The Liturgy Team is a consultative body fostering vibrant, integral and effective liturgical life and the promotion of spiritual growth throughout the Faith Community of Pope John Paul II Church. The team provides direction and guidance for liturgical celebrations. Special emphasis is placed on enhancing the liturgy during seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Pentecost. Altar Servers
Altar Servers are trained to assist at the Lord's Table for Masses and special liturgies. This ministry is open to all not just the youth who have made their First Communion. If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server, contact the office at (970)-264-5744.
Altar and Rosary Society
The Altar and Rosary Society cleans the altar area, cares for the altar linens, and provides flowers for our services. This ministry is supported by fund raising, the largest being a burrito breakfast. If you are interested in joining this society, contact the office at (970-731-5744).
Arts and Environment
The Arts and Environment ministry includes artists, seamstresses, quilters and designers. It also includes photographers, graphic artists, carpenters, and those who have a theater background. This ministry assists the Altar and Rosary Society in design, setup, and removal of decorations in the worship area. Collectors and Ushers
Collectors and Ushers take up the collections at Mass and help seat people before the Mass begins and direct traffic during communion. To join this Ministry call the office 970-731-5744
Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers assist in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass, Communion Services and to shut-ins with reverence and dignity. Ministers are active parishioners. This ministry requires training and commissioned by the Bishop. If you are interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister, contact the office at (970)-731-5744.
Gift Bearers
Gift Bearers bring the gifts to the altar in the offertory procession at Mass.
Lectors
Lectors proclaim God's living word at Masses and special liturgies. Lectors are active parishioners who are training to proclaim the Word. If you are interested in becoming a Lector, contact the office at (970)-731-5744.
Ministries of Hospitality
Hospitality Ministers welcome all who come to weekend and Holy Day Masses. This team may offer the only personal contact a parishioner has in our faith community. If you are interested in becoming a Hospitality Minister, contact the office at (970)-264-5744.
